It’s the final day of our week long book fair and today is Dress-up Friday – children, please come as your favourite book character! Even more great visitors will be here at school today, and there will be a Special Assembly to which everyone is welcome. It is also your last chance to purchase books!

9.30am Zac & Wendy from Dunedin Public Library

Zac & Wendy from the Children’s Team at Dunedin Public Library will be reading, then talking about everything that is available at the Library. (Did you know that you can request Get Well bags for children?)

11.15am Phillippa Duffy

Phillippa Duffy is the Manager of the University Bookshop and formerly of Craig Potton Publishing, and will read to each class.

2pm Janet Pereira

Janet Pereira is a local writer and will read and discuss her beautiful picture book, Blackie the Fisher-Cat.

2.30pm Special Assembly in the library

As usual in Room 3, a wonderful selection of Scholastic books will be on sale, with a percentage of sales coming back to the school in the form of books for our own library. Please support the school by purchasing some books!
