You will be aware that our school has been involved in a Special Character Review this week. Visiting reviewer Mr Paul Ferris has now completed the review following meetings with myself, the Board of Trustees and our DRS Mr Tili. Paul joined us for shared school prayer and spent time in classrooms observing RE lessons and speaking with children. I am delighted to inform you that the review has been extremely positive and Paul has conveyed this to myself and to the Board of Trustees. We now look forward to receiving and sharing with you the completed report early next term
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all colleagues, support staff, board members, PFA, helpers and our wonderful children for another great term at Sacred Heart. Receiving such a positive review report is a great way to end the term and we wish for you all a safe and relaxing term break.

Mufti Mania Day
NZ Catholic Children Helping Children in the Pacific
Gold coin donation please!
This Friday 3rd July is a mufti day at Sacred Heart.
This year all funds raised will support Catholic primary schools in the
Solomon Islands through the Caritas Aide Agency.
WHAT: Mufti Mania is an annual fundraising event for Catholic primary schools.
WHY: Every Catholic primary school is invited to be involved in this fundraiser as a gesture of service to and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Pacific.
WHEN: It is set down each year for the last Friday of Term 2. Funds raised by schools on this day are forwarded to the Treasurer of NZCPPA who passes the funds on to Caritas.
Last year our schools nationally raised $17,187 to support a rebuilding project at St Joseph’s College in Tonga.
