Opoho Play Centre Visit / SPCA Visit Climate Change Concert on Sunday

Sacred Heart Visit1

We had a great visit at Opoho Play Centre today (Friday) where the children gave another stunning performance.

SPCA1    IMG_0638

We also visited the Otago SPCA and on stopped for a few minutes on the way for a spontaneous performance in the Botanical Gardens as several tourists and gardeners looked on. So much fun on a beautiful sunny day.

We are now looking forward to the Climate Change Concert at St Paul’s Cathedral on Sunday evening. Just a reminder to wear correct school uniform and that we are meeting at the Cathedral steps at around 6:30pm.

Ruma Kiwi (Year 1/2) are supporting an initiative from one of their classmates by selling cupcakes on Monday 24th August at lunch time between 12:40 and 1:30pm.

This initiative supports our humanity (core value) focus this term and the Star Newspaper has been invited to do a follow up story for the SPCA.
Thank you, in advance, for your support. Check out the colourful poster!
