Miss Ellen Devaney
As well as serving as Principal, Ellen teaches our Ruma Kea students (Year 1, 2 and 3) with a special focus on prayer and religious education . Ellen is the professional leader in the school community and is responsible for upholding the Special Character of the school, the delivery of curriculum, the implementation of plans and policies and the day-to-day management of the school.

Miss Sophie Christie – Ruma Kereru (Year 4 – 6)
Sophie is a new teaching graduate, she brings a well-balanced combination of learner centered teaching skills, enthusiasm and personality to the classroom.
Mrs. Bronwyn Bradshaw (B.Ed., Dip Tchg) – Ruma Kea (Year 1 – 3)
Bronwyn has been at our school for the past eleven years and loves watching the children develop.
Mr Brian McLennan (B.A., Dip Tchg) – Literacy and Numeracy Extension Teacher.
Brian provides specialist teaching in literacy.
Support Staff
Meg Dougherty – Administrative Assistant, and the person who keeps everyone on track, as well as looking after pupils and parents. Meg’s hours are from 8.30am till 1pm. If you need help with anything after school please see one of the teachers, or leave a note on her desk.
